On Saturday, July 21, more than 3,000 people throughout Pennsylvania will join the Pittsburgh Pirates for the Family Fun Run/Walks to benefit our friends and neighbors with epilepsy/seizure disorders. The run/walks have become a cornerstone of the EFWCP’s special events. EFWCP Board member Joyce Bender says, “It is so inspiring to see large companies, families and individuals come out to support such a wonderful cause.”

Jim Krenn, WTAE’s Andrew Stockey and Pirates pitcher Tony Watson will be on-hand to lead the day’s festivities. It all begins with a 5k run/2 mile walk course that winds through the North Shore. Participants may then move onto a one-of-a-kind tailgate party, where they can enjoy food and beverages from local sponsors. Prizes are awarded to the teams and individuals that raise the most money. All participants are eligible for a free ticket to a baseball game, a commemorative t-shirt, and other fabulous items.

* For more information about this event and to register, visit Family Fun Run/Walk for Epilepsy.
