Jim Krenn joined the 8th Annual Celebrity Chef Cook-Off at Nakama to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation on Monday, October 22. The night also featured notable Pittsburghers including WTAE’s Sally Wiggin, Ashley Dougherty, Ashlie Hardway, Janelle Hall, Justin Rose and John Meyer as well as the Pittsburgh Pirates Parrot, Marcie Cipriani and Miss Pennsylvania.

Jim Krenn, who hasn’t been heard on the radio for nearly a year, still won Best Pittsburgh DJ in Pittsburgh City Paper’s “Best of Pittsburgh 2012” feature. The readers suggested the category, saying it best: He knew Pittsburgh better than Clear Channel.
